Introduction


The Office of Research and Development was established in 1998 to promote academic research and development, to facilitate academic cooperation and exchanges and to provide precision Instruments services for projects. The mission of the ORD is to serve teachers, students, and institutional operations for research excellence. The ORD has coordinated projects subsidized by the Ministry of Education, including “Plan to Develop First-class Universities and Top-level Research Centers” in 2006, “The Top University Development Plan”in 2011, and “Higher Education Sprout Project”in 2018.

At present, there are four divisions under the ORD:

  • 1) Institutional Research Center
  • 2) Division of Academic Development
  • 3) Division of Project Affairs
  • 4) Precision Instruments Center
